You're off to a good start. I look forward to more.

FYI, foreign place name are usually adopted into English from the local languages with only minor anglicizations of the descriptives but not the actual place name Thus, Lago di Garda becomes Lake Garda in English. the only change being "lago di" to "lake". And the so-called "Cabo Verde Islands" were the "Cape Verde Islands " in English for CENTURIES for the same reason until the last couple of years, when some ❤︎❤︎❤︎❤︎❤︎❤︎❤︎ idiot forgot the rules of translation.

There's also a peculiarity of English with lake names. If the lake is big enough to be drawn an a map of the continent as a whole, so is essentially an inland sea, then the word order is "Lake (lake's name)". If it's only visible on small-scale local maps so is barely distinguishable from a pond, then it's "(lake's name) Lake" :D.
