Newcomer / Intro GC Rail Gun reward delivered as hot module?

So I just checked my stored modules for the GC reward and the Rail Gun that was awarded for contributing to Fornacis Empire Group's vicotory was delivered hot:

Is this normal?
I never fitted that module even for a second as I just go it.
And yes it's 100% the correct module as I have not stored any other Rail Guns and also the mods show Long Range + High Capacity and has a value of 0 CR.

Not normal. Just clean it.

Edit: is your current ship hot? Maybe it inherits hotness from your ship

Nope, none of my ships are hot.

Umm, huh? Who do you mean? Check GalNet :) hi all i am new to ED and this was my first attempt at a CG. i got to the "top 75%" in the group that won (Episilon Fornacis) - so can somebody please explain if i will or will not get my rail gun? The instructions said that the top 75% would do so...

I wouldn't, when something is not right it's always better to not touch it

Clean it and go to Tod, or Sarge to add the experimental effect that is missing... or wait for FDev to sort it out while Etienne eats a few more Escape Pod occupants as your rail gun takes a T-9 to Colonia.

Maybe it's time someone wrote an Open Letter or threatened to quit?
