I am currently mining in this system. But following the changes to hotspots I am unsure as to where to go to get the best concentration of painite. I now go for the inner ring always. But once there I have found a place with 2 painite hotspots close to each other and one other material which I cant remember. I fly inbetween the two painite spots and mine there. But I am thinking that there are not that many roids doing this. Is it better to land in the center of a hotspot nowadays? or is my method as good as it gets and I just have to put up with the frequency of high concentrates of painite? Its not too bad but I would like it to be better, I use a lot of limpets.

Actually, finding a single P-hotspot will land you plenty of ore. It's even better to locate a pristine system (if you're mining in the bubble).
There is a site that actually locates pristine systems. I somehow lost that link. Perhaps another commander can post the link where I have failed you.
But finding the overlapping hotspots is more difficult now and in my "opinion" you'll waste more time looking for them as opposed to mining single hotspots which there have always been more of. It boils down to time is money.

I guess nobody is perfect then. One of em is better at some things than the other and vis-a-vis.
