Since the inevitable is here, thought I'd see how GeForce Now is working out for those of you who are using it on Xbox. If you're using GeForce Now on Xbox, and playing Odyssey, how is the performance? I know a lot will have to do with internet connection. Is a mouse and keyboard required or is the Xbox controller enough? I've read it doesn't support the Thrustmaster without some 3rd party workaround, is that true? Any other tidbits of info you would offer?

As the ping time of the connection changes the game play changes...
The service has free tier. If you moved your account to a Steam/epic account with the account copy Fdev offered you can just sign up and use the completely free tier...
You don't need to wait for others choice you can use it right now... (no body here can tell you how bad your ping will be only you can find out by going hardwired and connecting to the service)
My connection is dead on the 40ms of the ideal connection point of 40ms...
You can not use the Xbox one hotas so if you already have one it IS a big downgrade to go back to controller... An elite controller is still a downgrade but not so bad
One negative is that Geforce now supports Way better games than Elite Dangerous and they're free, now with PC power graphics and PC complex settings and features... If you got a good connection those better title now with GTX2070 powered graphics have been a big draw after people notice titles supported...
PS.... Get a Keyboard your going to have to type, a lot to log in to set it up...
Thanks! I'm not completely set on trying to switch over, but thought I'd see what's involved. I hadn't thought of looking at some other games. What are some other titles like Elite that are available on GeForce or Steam?
You could end up spending 100s of hour on the new game content and not touch ED type at all...
Geforce now does not just launch a single title on Xbox (thats a feature on PC/Mac only) it boots into an Advertising interface in the browser...with many more titles listed...
You don't just launch one game you have to access the interface then launch the game...
As today's statement stated only the PC 4.0 client of ED will get any new content... console version won't...
All this is still pointless if the Data server is to far from you then the lag will make the service unusable for you any way, The FREE content allows you to test...
