"Gendered" titles

Simple solution, make all the Imperial titles the female version then, for EVERYONE.... should not matter to any boys out there, it is just honorary titles anyway, right?

Yep. Let the "boys" run around being called something they aren't.

I don't have a problem with the "military" ranks as those have been "gender neutral" for a long, long time since the "rank" simply denotes a position in the "military". But, the "ranks" in an aristocracy denote a rank within the WHOLE SOCIETY and the holder can command the actions of everyone of a lower rank, even those with some military rank, that isn't even in the military while, except during conditions of martial law, military dictatorship, and abject tyranny (many tyrants try to prop up their claim to power with a military rank and a chest full of shiny medals even when they never marched a league in their life) , a military person has no control over civilians. The Aristocrat has that control.

Lazarus Longs daughters who alternated command of his ship, used the rank of "Commander".

ha, the same people writing novels about why there should never ever be gendered ranks would then write novels about why there definitely should be gendered ranks for them good 'ol boys. It is just a convoluted and semi-adult form of

At least there are female avatars for people who want them, that other space game has been resisting that kind of yuckiness for half a decade now. :p

You should look up what 'honorary' means.

Hint; It is the absolute antithesis to Military Ranking.

Good idea

I agree with adding more rank titles, can we add some jedi/star trek/alien ranks.

Maybe have a gender/race and preferred profession choice when you start.

Love Calvin and Hobbes, I remembered reading the gross club ones and it brought back some good memories of when I was younger - thank you.
