I've been playing the game almost non-stop since launch and I've had an absolute blast, but there are a few minor issues that really hamper the experience and I hope the developers can look into some of these things.
- The water, no matter how many water purifiers you have (they don't appear to stack) is incredibly murky and in the case of animals like hippos it makes trying to see them either from above or from underwater viewing points incredibly difficult. I hope water can be made more clear or perhaps have more 'options' (In notice a 'rough' and a calm style for water, perhaps a more visible clear type, or a bluer type?)
- Keepers don't come by to feed animals enough. The default options to come visit the enclosure are monthly, 6 months, and a year. My animals quickly go through their food and need to be fed much more than once a month. More options for more frequent feeding would be ideal
- I have multiple keepers assigned to an exhibit in an attempt to feed animals more frequently, but what happens is the first keeper is the one who does everything and the others idle. Multiple keepers should be able to work on the same habitat to speed up this process.
- Lights currently only turn on at night; an option to leave them permanently on, and especially a method to make an area dark outside of night time, would be awesome
- Animals don't tend to wander very much; I made indoor houses for animals with their food and bedding, and left the water outside hoping they would explore the exhibit. What happens is they spend almost all time indoors and then quickly come out to drink, then rush back.I placed enrichment around the outdoor parts but the animals don't seek them out after using them once. I hope that changes could be made to make animals more likely to wander / seek out enrichments.
- Time flies by way too fast. I won't go too much into it because everyone else is talking about it but it's definitely one of the biggest problems along with the water murkiness.
- Not necessarily a big problem but almost every animal I buy in sandbox comes heavily scarred. Not sure if it's a bug or intended but either a way to heal the scars of animals or a decreased frequency of them would be nice.
