On May 18th 3304, what you would call a fringe group of doomsayers by the name of 'Generation Omega' came out publicly to declare that ‘superior spacefaring lifeforms will naturally destroy inferior ones, just as our own cultures have overrun each other since prehistory’, aka the Thargoids. Despite their public opinions that humanity should be put in concentration camps if this conflict with the Thargoids results in defeat... galactic authorities continue to persecute and demonize members of the peaceful religious group known as 'the Far God Cult'. While many among our Frontier Alliance may perhaps regard the Thargoid worshipping cult as misled, we still hold to heart the values of religious/spiritual freedom without persecution. On August the 17th, FIA arrested Dr Uluyanov for merely associating with the Far God cult, while we know nothing of Generation Omega, who are they, and what have their activities been as of late. You may think they are loony 'doomsayers' of the impending apocalypse, don't be fooled, they are one of the four horsemen.
Well we will start of with what we do know;
'GENERATION OMEGA'
Omega is the last letter in the Greek alphabet, when alpha is combined with omega it often means 'the beginning of the end'. This new interstellar fascist group is quite literally calling for the end of humanity, but why?

From this statement we can tell that they are a new breed of supremacists, though a break from the traditional human and white supremacists of the past. They believe that humanity should make way for superior civilisations... such as the Thargoids. Though we in the Frontier Alliance doubt that Generation Omega would be so generous in taking their own lives after taking that of humanities as well. The current conflict with the Thargoids is just an excuse for them to 'transcend' what they deem inferior, humanity. We among the Frontier Alliance admit that we practice Anarchist Transhumanist tendencies, and have been among one the many independent powers pushing for a peaceful solution to this Thargoid conflict, while preparing for the possibility of Thargoid hostilities against us, while pushing for AI applications in our society that are considered banned throughout the interstellar superpowers... unlike Generation Omega though we are not Malthusianists nor Misanthropes, neither is humanity as inferior as they may claim.
We live in an age of advanced development in terms of genetic biomodification, mechanical prosthetics and now our own advancement is being fuelled by that of the long dead Guardian civilisation. We however also live in an interstellar society were only a few benefit from these advancements, while others suffer in squalor and exploitation. It makes sense that those who have benefited from such advancements would feel superior, even beyond that of the 'weak and inferior' humans of the bubble. The only examples we have thus far of the wills of elite augments upon the masses is Walden's Dictatorship over Lave, the current market in Progenitor Cells, and most notably the FIAs involvement in black ops programs involving the illegal augmentation and exploitation of operatives such as Jaques. Not to say that every augment is associated with Generation Omega, it is clear though that there are members in the more privileged community of augments that harbour ideas such as supremacy.
The FIA insists on ignoring Omega, while targeting members of an otherwise benign faith. And what is AEGIS going to do about this, despite Generation Omega's statement regarding 'euthanasia camps', nothing, they're not xenos, neither are they working along side the Thargoids. When Generation Omega strikes it will be too late to act, because while GalNet has been distracting everyone with aliens, terrorists and weddings, Omega has been working in the shadows.
We live in a (somewhat sparse) galactic ecology, even in this needless conflict with the Thargoids, we have to work together for mutual benefit, just as we must work with other alien civilisations that we encounter. Our history though, if you look at it, is disappointing, Generation Omega is right on this account, other civilisations in our own species have continually tried to dominate the other, but colonialism, imperialism and authoritarianism is and will always be wrong, nationalistic pride is what nearly wiped our species out during WW3. While we have in a remarkable amount of time, developed the means of FTL travel and an almost vast spanning galactic civilisation, for many this period has still been the dark age of democracy, with the domination of the old United States of America over the Earth after WW3 and the rise of another pretender to the extinct Roman Empire in Achenar (and tragic extinction of the Achenarian species). With the Alioth Revolution within the last century, we are just waking up out of this slumber and finally making successful, if not shaky attempts at more egalitarian societies throughout Alliance and Independent space, even with some systems of the Federation favouring this trend the danger of another Dark Age, either by Thargoids or 'Generation Omega' is still an ever present threat. We as a civilisation are perhaps too comfortable with our current state of sedentary life compared to the millions of certified Pilots Federation commanders, when the hard times do come many in among the most developed worlds may not be prepared. We among the Frontier Alliance don't want billions of humans to be needlessly slaughtered, thus we say it's time to bring Generation Omega's activities into the light.
