Generic exhibits appreciation post

Gotta bite my tounge in the whoulesome chat, but really does anybody here want unironically old exhibits over WEs in the future?
Imo the WE has been a clear upgrade in every way and im more then eager to leave the extremly flawed normal exhibits behind for something that actually plays into the gameplay of the game

It's not about the generic exhibits instead of the walkthrough exhibits, I like both and still would like to see some classical exhibits. As others mentioned it would be already great if we get some smaller versions. I think it would be fantastic if we'd get one WE animal (or different of the same type like the did with the butterflies) AND one normal exhibit animal in future DLCs.
Beside a chameleon, cobra and python I'd love to get the blue tree monitor, tokay gecko, Chinese crocodile lizard, a species of Asian box turtle, the rainbow agama and the bearded dragon in the game, just to name a few common and attractive reptile species. As @Mr Weasel mentioned those are great filler species and help to enhance buildings, tropical halls etc.

Yes, an exhibit appreciation post. It's about time. I finally found some club members.

I love the exhibits and I was excited when I found out you could have them in Planet Zoo.

I only wish we had a larger variety to choose from.
Also, I wish we could customize the interior biomes for species that have multiple biomes. Like, if a snake is found in temperate and tropical environments, then I'd love the option to alter between them.

I also think that some should be able to be combined, specifically the poison frogs

Yes, we should be able to mix the poison frogs. It would also be neat to get color variations for them (as they are even mentioned in the zoopedia).

So, everyone is talking about the walkthrough exhibits (which are fantastic and a game changer!) but it seems that barely anyone is thinking about the generic exhibits now. While I really love the potential of the WE's and what diferent types of animals we can get with them, I think we shouldn't forget about the generic exhibits.
Yes, they are kind of boring because of the limitations in customization and I hope Frontier will rework the exhibit system. But there are so many species of smaller reptiles and other animals that we still desperately need in the game and won't hopefully be forgotten. Chameleons, cobras and pythons for example.
Especially Asia is in desperate need for more exhibit animals. I mean Asia has more or less completely neglected by Frontier for some reason. At the moment we have the leaf insects and the Giant forest scorpion and that's it, there is not a single exhibit reptile from Asia (!), while South America is relatively over-represented when it comes to exhibit animals.
