Hmm ... having just found four genetic repair meds in the big locker in an Extraction building, are you sure they're less common there? Obviously they wouldn't show up there if I was actually looking for them.

I've had similar recently - Colonia seems mainly extraction so far :) They're also in the other places though.

I always found mine in industrial settlements, as a by product of the big locker in the IND building with the 2 chimneys:

Wow, you're rich. I actually found one in IMAI Astrophysics Complex, in Kwiamo. I'll try my luck again today. Thanks for the offer, though, I appreciate it :)

I just got my fifth 20 mins ago and already unlocked Terra Velasquez. I can't say I'm thrilled with the time it took.
I'd like to thank everyone who offered to help, but I just wanted to see how long it would take. I was this close to giving up :)

Not so easy for me... made 15-20 Restoration Missions, most of them were at Extraction or Chemical Settlements... looted dozens of MED room, STO buildings, RES buildings, IND buildings, EXT buildings, AGRI buildings... in around 6-8 different systems... not a single genetic repair meds !!! Just for a little favor to a little engineer...

Anyone with recent success? Any settlements suggested?

Try industrial settlements. They usually have at least two big lockers that can have them. And if not, they come with ionized or compressed gas, too.

Thanks! Just found one in the IND building at Neumann Industrial Forge in Lakota (Extermination-Mission)

I was running missions at Sirko Biochem, Cuic 1B. A PWR, 2 habs and a combined LAB/RES building and found they dropped regularly at the data port in the LAB/RES building.

Found one the other day, even recorded it.

So they are still about.

I don't need it by the way, if anyone wants it I'll take a few weapon components in trade

Well, I'm good to go... found enough of that stuff in small locked lockers in the PROC Room (IND building) at Mendy Industrial Forge in Ngauningin system. Took Restoration Mission at Bulleid Beacon and did the Supercruise Dance. Thanks again @Drelthar !
