Currently, the radar feature on the HUD when in exploration mode is basically useless, as it does not show anything.
Would it be possible to integrate it with the pulse sent by the genetic sampler? Especially when looking for bacterial colonies, which are flat on the ground, sometimes I can hear the ping that one is within range, but I can't see it because the terrain is very rocky and it is hard to spot them, even when jumping/hovering.
I believe it would be much better if the radar showed all the signals identified by the pulse (with their respective colours - green, blue, purple): gives purpose to an otherwise useless feature and increases QOL for explorers.
