Genomes 100% for Sandbox

Hello all,
I'm having a great fun in Germany Challenge unlocking new herbivores for sandbox. I would try to get genome to 100%. However, I have some incomplete genomes in Germany Challenge, but 100% in sandbox. What percent of genome can I stop in Germany Challenge before moving onto another dinosaur? I mean the purpose of doing Germany Challenge is to unlock dinosaurs for sandbox.

Once you're at 50%, you are able to release the dinosaur which will make it available in sandbox

So, if I get to 50%, then move onto another dinosaur, I still get 100% in sandbox, correct?

As long as you're releasing the dinosaur into the map yes
