I doubt you need to worry. The vast majority of ED supporters say things like:

"Well, SC and ED are both different games and there is plenty of room for them both to coexist. SC and ED just have different approaches - why not play both? We should be celebrating simply because space sims in general are returning, and we are all one happy family who loves space sims."

One of the reasons I like the ED community. They're all tons more charitable than me

Full disclosure, I'm a massive Elite fanboy and I don't like SC.

I think I would react the same to ANYBODY who claims that a game that doesn't actually exist yet, IS (not "will be" but "IS") "by far the best game ever made. Period."

I mean, c'mon.
