Get people to use priority pass?

Hey guys, i have this issue that is driving me crazy and no one seems to have that problem....[cry][cry]
The thing is i've set up my coaster, with the normal que and the priority pass but literally like 2% of all visitors use the PP. No one ever uses it and idk why. The lines are colapsing and yet very few people takes the PP. I even put the PP cheaper than the normal ticket to see if it has some effect but nothing. I really want to see that priority line flow [sad], if anyone could help me i'd be deeply appreciated. :D

Well.

To my knowledge, guests only get PP if its worth the cash. The more rides that have it, the better. Some rides dont need it. I always put PP on roller coasters and popular rides. I have sold over 1,000 PP during a course of a few years in-game. My tip, keep an eye on queue lines. If a rides queue line is really short, it doesn't need PP. If it is really long, setup a PP line. Plus, I put the priority pass at a high priority (once PP is enabled and setup, you can change the priority in the operations tab of a ride).

On a side note, also keep an eye on PP queue lines. If it's more than the regular queue, increase the price of the PP.

Hope I helped.

The only item I have to add to what Coasterteam said is that a PP queue only works if it saves peeps time. The amount of time saved on the whole is relative to PP desirability. IE: The more time the PP saves the guest, the more likely a guest is going to purchase one. :)

chances are because people in the park are not buying the passes because they see no value at the price that is set. The more rides in your park that have the PP the more the people will see the value in it and will be willing to pay to get one.

If a person has the PP they will always go in the PP lane so if you say no one is going in there then that leads me to believe no one is buying them

Peeps buy priority passes when the following conditions apply:

1. A significant fraction of all rides in the park have priority queues. This must include the popular ones with long regular queues, of course, but also many of the others.

2. The price of a priority pass is not excessively high (I usually charge $10, same as park entry and most big rides).

3. The individual peep decides to buy one. Only a small fraction of the overall population will ever want to buy passes, even if you meet the above conditions. Most say "priority passes are for suckers" and that will never change. But OTOH, you really don't want to sell too many anyway. First, the priority queue is generally very small so won't hold many peeps. Second, the more priority customers cut ahead of regular customers, the less happy the regular customers are.

All in all, priority passes generate a LITTLE extra income but not much after expenses. They make a minority very happy at the expense of making the majority slightly resentful. So all in all, I find them more of a decorative than a useful feature.
