So tempted to pre-order this but I still don't know if the digital is released first, if its simultaneous release and when it will be. Its a bargain from Shopto though!.

We kinda knew that didn't we from the FAQ? I guess it throws water on the big Sony VR reveal for E3? So imminent release?

Kudos to Stormy for the find. Nothing is listed in US stores. Someone should call and ask if they have a expected by date. This will be bad for anyone preordering only to find out Retail is later than digital they will be some unhappy gamers.

I recently found an article which listed all the games that were expected to be featured at E3. Elite Dangerous was not on the list. The article made it sound like there might be future announcements regarding possible additions, but, I like you thinking of "imminent release"

I think its the lack of info from and the original article about the legendary edition saying it would follow the digital release, but that could be just due to Xbox and PC versions.

As you say, its not common at all. I am still a bit nervous about pre-ordering it without some information from FDev. I put cash in my Sony PSN wallet early when it was "Digital Only" and lived to regret that because we know how that turned out. ;)

Gary? Ed? Anyone? Is the release across digital and retail going to be simultaneous?

The screenshots are dated early 2015 to late 2016, Adobe Photoshop, so not actual screenshots from a PS4. I'll keep looking for clues.
