Engineers Get your Core Dynamics Composites while they're, um...cold and floating in space...

...just thought I'd post because Sol is in a state of NONE at the moment, which is very unusual in my experience. This means that high grade emissions USSes in Sol will no longer reward proto heat radiators, but instead Proprietary Composites and Core Dynamics Composites.

Go to Sol, put the sun in your rear view mirror, head straight UP 1500ls from the system's orbital plane and start running BIG circles at 1/2 throttle or a little less, looking out for High Grade Emissions USSes. I must say I didn't find my usual frequency of High Grade Emissions USSes (far less, hope this isn't the result of a patch and just bad luck), but due to the fact that each one I did find had CDCs, it still wasn't a bad farming session. I got 33 in about an hour, but 24 were in the first half an hour, the second half hour was pretty painful, hugely diluted by a large number of Distress Calls. I was about to relog because of this, when I got the last three CDCs I needed.

For the CIF, don't bother anywhere else than in Dav's Hope.
Searched for months, tried a lot of things (including ugly worksheets before someone tried to organize them), stopped playing thrice this year because of this, then gave a try to Dav's Hope (now Hobbes's) and got to 90 CIFs in like one evening.

For the Pharmaceutical Isolators, they seem to not spawn at Dav's Hope.
Tried a lot of things too, doing this for a week now, spent whole evenings in breakout systems (including an alliance major faction in outbreak in a system with several billion peoples in it tonight, near station, at various distances and, in and out of space lines), and got almost nothing.

I hope that finally Frontier hires a no-nonsense no-bull*** game conceptor (or finally listen the ones they may have), and until I get more time I'm willing to lose (because it is about losing time here, not spending it), I'll go back once again playing something where Reward and Enjoyment (per hour spent) matter to game design, like XCom2 or ESO.

It's not the law, it's obviously a decision or omission from someone who does not take the right decisions for this game (because of a lack of care, skill or humility, ego, perversion...) and who seems to maintain these as long as he can afford to without real consequences to him/her.

I know I'm unforgiving here, but we're far from things that were unavoidable (just look at the sheer number of topics about these, for months now), so we're in things which were avoidable, and the "non fix" for something of this scale is at least conscious and willful (worst bugs were fixed, and cool things like Dav's hope compensating could have been generalized if deeper procedural-system-fixing was too time-consuming).

I'm the first one to think that too many people complain too fast and too strong, but we're talking here about deficient communication (partners api developers going in strike ? never saw that anywhere before) and a management lacking in heavy game experience spoiling problems (way beyond what can be expected or even believable) for *way* too long.

Only other possibilities seem to be to make people fed up with the game because competitors bribe you to, or to lighten servers load.

Edit : For the Pharmaceutical Isolators, there is a way that seems to work.
Fly over 10K ls from Sun in a non Empire non Federation system with high population which is in breakout state, slow down to 5-10 speed, and only look for encoded emissions. At this distance most spawns are what we seek.
Got over 60 pharmaceutical isolators since this post, like 3 hours ago.
Doesnt solve everything around Elite, but at least there is a workaround for this part.

Thanks for the rep that brought me back to this thread to point out fpor anyone reading that CIF from Dav's Hope has been nerfed. Now only from missoins and base runs (and occasoinally from planetary scans that send you to an outpost). Also, if you're looking for any of the actual materials that are found at Dav's Hope, go to the Naphtha tanker instead. Same stuff, same likelihood, just MUCH more convenient. Just google Naphtha tanker location on any given day and look at canonn's site for the current location.
