Not necessary to "Undocking Log" in such a manner. A simple Menu Logout is sufficient, as long as you don't wait until the last 14 seconds to try a 15-second log-off.
And how that time flies by when your throwing the controller around :-D

never got stuck with my t9
but i had several cases where my corvette was stuck to the letterbox while leaving to high.
there is a kind of forcefield that sucks you to it
solved it with either relogging, or last time, i did a barrel-roll, that managed to detach the ship.

How slow do you guys leave the station that the gravity well of the mailslot pulls you in??
It is the rotational correction, most noticeable in the Anaconda/Corvette due to the location of the bridge.
There is no gravity well, thrusters work automatically with RC is enabled, the ship automatically engages and disengages it.

its not about "how slow"
but more about "how much attention do you give the game while flying through the mailslot"
and thats not much most of the time
I've scraped the top of the slot in my vett and heard the loud clanging noise. Thus I assume the only way to reproduce the comical scene of getting stuck to the top of it (e.g. Wile E. Coyote) would be to creep along slow enough :S
That makes sense. I never noticed it, but certainly take it for granted. There's an option in your functions menu to disable RC, now that would make for some interesting landing videos.
