Any professional/ amateur star gazers here?? Im excited to finally have time off from social life to catch the meteor shower this year; however ill have to enjoy it through live streaming due to my wife suddenly feeling ill. :(

Would be neat to have people post any photos they catch from the shower.

unfortunately there's quite a bit of light pollution around here.
plus it's a wednesday. would be nice if mother nature would schedule these on a friday or saturday. ;)

I just went out for a quick peek, got absolutely eaten alive by mosquitos :(

They must all be in a guild and have me on their KOS list lol

Is a shame, it's always nice to see meteors.

Saw plenty last night here in the UK, around one per minute on average. Didn't use the camera but it's an amazing reality check - thinking what's out there!

I live in the heart of the city...so I didn't see any for the half hour or so that I gave it. If only everyone would just turn off the lights...we don't really need them, right?

New York here and they are cranking! I have very dark sky's so if you are able to get out do it! Peak is anytime now.

You are lucky! I've popped out a couple of times, only seen two nice ones! The bug bites and not getting enough sleep for work tomorrow was worth it though :)
