Horizons Getting really depressed.....

Thats how a dynamic universe works.

The game is not about serving the players or making you feel like the best of the best.

Instead you have to work out and adapt to the situations infront of you.

No situation is unavoidable , the AI as it stands is not hard , infact I would argue its broken.

Calling it ''just a game'' is like calling the mona lisa ''just a painting'' or shakespeare ''just working class drama''
You are ment to feel as if you are in a universe like elite and make your own path.

Some make it , most dont. ''even I get boarded sometimes''

I dont get why because its ''a game'' it should become some egoshooter or zen game.
Its ment to be elite , not some ubisoft game.

What type of ship are you using? if the game is throwing to much at you , maybe its time to downgrade ship into something more affordable.
Elite is about adaptation

VERY WELL SAID!!! Have some rep and wish it could be more than 1 rep

Why does no one mention the fact that after you drop into a ring, you can fly away from the (spawn area)? Just fly 25km or so, away from any distant blips you see and then you can mine as long as you like without NPC interruption.

You mean apart from in my post where I said to fly 20k away from the drop in point? :S

(I said let the initial ones scan you by the way because if they want to scan you and you fly off they follow you and unless you're in a fairly fast mining ship they're going to come to say hi no matter what you do. It's totally risk-free as log as you're only carrying limpets and once they have scanned you they leave.)

Rather than quit or take a break. Why not just team-up with some likeminded fellows and some of which can cover you. Make it a multiplayer experience and something to share with others. Not sure what you fly, but try making for a more heavier and sturdier ship. The Anaconda or Python can do mining well while having an iron a*s.

Shok.
