THE DATES ARE SET! BBR9 will kick off at 2100 GMT, 2 Jan 3301.

Howdy racers. Don't know if you've been keeping up on current events but it looks like somebody's gonna be building a station way out in the middle of nowhere.

You ask me, this has Buckyball written all over it. So I'm thinking of putting together an O-fficial Buckyball Run for the community goal and wanted to run it by the good folks of the BRC to make sure I wasn't gonna step on anybody's toes, Alec Turner in particular... I see your Bump N' Grind will still be in progress during the proposed dates (22 October, give or take) and definitely don't wanna throw off your groove. I would of course be happy to pump the Bump N' Grind as well as the BRC to the best of my ability to plug shamelessly. (And let's face it, I give up whatever shame I have whenever I record my time on the board.)
EDIT: Well because I'm 'Murican and we do things the right way when it comes to dates MM-DD-YY as opposed to the "logical" way of DD-MM-YY I thought Alec's Bump 'N' Grind was running until 10 November instead of 11 October. And sure, Metric is way more logical too, but you'll never get me to sprinkle U's in words that don't need them or drive on the wrong side of the road. But I digress...
Is there a BRC event coming up around 22 October?
Since this is likely to be a cargo hauling trip I'll have to adjust the Big Board to accommodate but that should take only a few swings of the ol' sledgehammer. Seeing as how it'll be a high traffic affair, the clock will stop upon entry of the target system as was the case in the A* to keep from adding to the nebula via collisions in the slot. Plus, it wouldn't be nice to dent up a spankin' new station before opening day. It'd be bad for the brand.
After that, it's just a matter of getting a start and finish location and whipping up a bumper sticker. Everybody loves bumper stickers. Here's the preliminary version:

Any objections? Complaints? If so, you know who to send 'em to...
