Getting the fuel from storage to fuel tank ?

New to Fleet Carriers, didn’t play the beta, had a couple of questions from you knowledgable lot;

  • I just ferried 7K tons of Tritium to my carrier.. where is it ? I can’t seem to find where the storage tab is.
  • I presenlty have a full fuel tank, 1K t. How do I feed my stored Tritium to the fuel tank when I need to ?
  • I plan on using the FC as a solo player, do I need Outfitting ?
  • I bought a Secure Warehouse because I thought that was where the Tirtium would be stored. That dosen’t appear to be the case so what is the Secure Warehouse for ?

Thanks in advance for all helpful replies.

  • Storage and market are the same thing.
  • Tritium Depot service
  • No, Outfitting is only needed to let other people store stuff with you (Shipyard likewise)
  • Secure Warehouse is for buying and selling locally illegal goods. If you're the only person using the carrier you don't need it.

Is in your carrier storage. Unfortunately, notwithstanding the community feedback during beta, FD has left us with the only option for fuel transfer of using one of our ships to transfer tritium from carrier storage to ship and then, from ship to carrier... Stupid isn't it?

Get a t9, with all cargo racks, no shield and park it on your carrier. Swap to it for fuel moving duties whenever needed. Win!

I don't see anything at all in my COMMODITIES MARKET- completely empty..
Yes - but anything in storage can be placed on the market to sell. Nothing shows up until you set a price, of course.

(When I was trying in Beta there didn't seem to be an obvious way to get cargo out of storage without using the market unless there was already at least 1t in your own hold - but maybe they fixed that, or I missed something?)

Not sure i understand, please forgive the thick headedness; I already have the stored Tritium onboard ( as soon as I can find it). I see a 'donate Tritium button in the Tritium Depot. I assume I 'donate Tritium' when my gas tank falls below 1,000T, correct ?

This answers the question about Shipyard as well. We need at least 2 ships on board, unless you do everything with your cargo ship. Personally, I use a explo ship to plot routes >500ly. There's at least 2 ships, oh and if you want to mine tritium way out yonder..

Secure Warehouse = Black Market. The one service I declined.

You use the cargo ship to transfer from FC inventory to the Tritium Depot. Its a fueling "middleman". Once it dawns on you, it may fuel your FC rage as well ;)

What was the question? I didn't follow the thread, sorry. If it is what I think, then you don't need a shipyard for that. I have currently 6 ships stored on my carrier but no shipyard. The latter only makes sense if you want to sell ships.
Oh yeah my mistake. The shipyard comes standard starting in beta2. I forgot. You need the upgrade for your friends to use the shipyard, right?

In order to get rid of a Carrier Service do i simply need to visit the system where i bought it, or do i have visit a station ? I read the primer but it still isn't clear. Thanks guys.

Filter the galmap for "Carrier Admin" services. They have this working now.
