Engineers Getting the hump trying to get FSD upgraded

Hi all,

I have been trying for many weeks to upgrade the FSD, since the last upgrade I hve not been able to find any convoy beacons in outbrake anarcy systems. I have tried about 20 so far this week.
I am thinking of giving up as I not sure that it's worth all the hassle.

Did the "murder of innocent relief workers" late last week in the Pai Shihi (still an Anarchy Famine system as of this typing). The first time the distribution point was around the first planet, the second time (after I logged for the night) it was around a planet orbiting the second star, about 10k LS out.

Just a reminder that even if the system is in Famine/Outbreak, the controlling faction has to also be in famine/outbreak for the points to show up in their space (at least that is how I understand it). Also, as with every other interactive point, you have to be within 1k LS in order for the Nav system to ping it. For me, when I get a system that is in the right state and I don't see a Distribution point when I arrive, I always look for the furthest out planet and beeline to that one and watch the others along the way. Most times that will work. Enjoy

PS...forgot one thing. Bring along a wake scanner when you do this and scan the wakes of the small ships as they hop out....knock out 2 birds with one stone.

I was at two yesterday. Just used EDDN to find em. Then GalMap to confirm theyre anarchy and outbreak. Culling pesky T9's of their chem manips. You need to do nav beacon on the system (not necessary but useful) and fly within 1000ls or whatever planet for Convoy Beacons to show up in panel.
