Gift system Architect to another player

o/! I've been seeing some concerns about chains of systems with just one outpost in them, and i'll likely be particularly guilty of this with my target system being several hundred LY out. I think a win-win could be to allow players to gift control of a system to others! Or at least make the system available to claim again! Someone who may not be able to haul all the required materials in four weeks yet could have their own system ready to go when they progress in the game, or a larger group could take over a system that i wont be developing anyways!

I strongly suspect the backend isnt designed to handle this just yet, but even if this is a feature that shows up many months down the line it'd be super nice :)
 
I saw something where you need to claim the station once you deliver the last amount of required materials

Problem is, anyone can claim it while the person building the station with materials travels to the new station. It's not locked to builder for a period of time

With there already being stories about people sniping systems in the time it takes the owner to fly from delivering the last load to the station? Nobody would ever build an orbis again LOL!

Now, that's not what is happening. When a station is completed it goes to the architect. The other people are claiming a different system nearby before the architect can.
 
It would be a nice thing to have. Unfortunately, lousy people mean we often can't have nice things: a partially developed star system takes a lot of time, which combined with ability to transfer title would make it irresistible to "gold-farmer" operations who have low-income workers labour in-game to produce items to sell to players for real-world cash. Once system colonization becomes a gold-farm industry, then the rate and manner in which systems are colonized will change for the worse. (Not to mention the black-market pay-to-win aspect)
Consequently it won't surprise me when FDev continues to not add the title-transfer feature

Maybe title transfer could have an expensive ARX price, to gut the financial viability of the market, but that would also draw complaints
