To be fair, Big Pappa found it, I just video'd it for him. Its his find, 100%. That said, they aren't the easiest thing to find....and he stumbled into a MASSIVE field of these things! Its quite amazing, really.

Awesome find but... annoyingly long intro imho, and then just when you think the actual stuff is starting, it's like you gotta commit to your sponsors first. Get to the point plx :D

Giving credit where credit is due. The intro is 15 seconds long. Its Big Pappa's find, backed by researchers from two different groups. Even though they didn't stumble into it first, he would never have found it if not for the combined efforts of everyone involved.

Including the credits, the intro is 40 seconds (that's when you get to the topic). Most people will mash the back button after 10-15 seconds, if not earlier. If you advertise geyser fields, show geyser fields while telling who/what/where. Just saying.

I skipped the intro, but I skip every intro, and nothing wrong with giving credit where its due. Cool that the game is finally heading in this direction, not sure I'd say I'm amazed at the geysers, but I'm hard to amaze. Good work on the find and video though, keep it up.

Valid points, and to be perfectly honest I've got another video going up shortly that takes a path similar to that. If people like it, I'll stick with it. That video is actually the first one thats ever caught any flak for the intro, was somewhat surprised.

They look a lot neater on the day side, but I've got another video going up that I think looks better at night. You'll see what I mean when it goes live shortly. :D

Maybe you can shoot another vid when the planet rotates the geyser field back towards the main star? Or at least when it's facing the bright central bulge of the galaxy.

I might, but if I do it won't have the same production. The timelapse footage is very time consuming and resource intensive.
