Hello CMDRS,
after earning some money dogfighting I was exited to buy two gimballed burst lasers instead of the loaned fixed puls lasers.
I was hoping to decrease my kill time on fed fighters.
Suprisingly my kill time increases! The gimballed thingy is only hitting targets properly if they come closer as 1 km and show their fat side..
Wit the fixed ones I hit on 2 to 3 km without a problem.
In my opinion, with a maneuverable ship like the sidey or eagle gimballed weapons are much weaker than fixed ones as they miss terrible often!
Note: I am waiting for my X52 HOTAS currently playing with mouse. Maybe aiming is much better with mouse so my opinion will change when I get the stick??
