Ships Gimme advice?

I am currently running a T6 with 108t cargo, docking computer and no shields. On average I make 290k profit per round trip (A>B>A) with max cargo. These are single jumps (15ly or less). Mostly trading in metals and imperial slaves, though sometimes more profitable commodities come up.

I had to basically start from scratch 2 days ago after crashing my T6 with 2-mil worth of cargo. After insurance I was left with about 30k. Right now I am sitting on 7-million credits. Once you get to 200+ cargo space trading in regular commodities (common metals, etc) becomes fore profitable, but ultimately sticking to the rares will yield best results.

For now I will keep grinding to build credits. I am thinking of going the Python or T7, but a Fully loaded cargo Python costs close to 140-million :-(

The Asp is perect for rare trading... If can keep your shiled and have 90 cargo, e is quite a lot faster, a lot more agile, and a lot more defensible than the Type-6. It also can jump further, and carries twice the fuel than the Type-6. It is better also for regular trading, as you can fit 120 cargo without shileds.
