Give me a few compelling reasons to actually land on and explore planets.

I bought a Sidey and after screwing up the planetary descent a couple of times and ending up way off course and far from the base I was trying to get to. I ended up taking a long surface skimming flight over to the base in question.

I landed. I looked around in camera mode and then I took off. I even went as far as to buy and rig a Cobra MkIV for planetary landings with an SRV and such but it is just gathering dust in a starport having never gotten its landing gear dirty.

Maybe one day I will get around to landing again and toying with the SRV but at the moment that's not on my short list.

What ED needs is more content plus balancing in general - Not any more additional "wow"-features.

It's like a rough diamond that needs to be cut. This has to be done first...before digging another gemstone out.

I have understood that you will get new "stuff" even tho you do not have the Horizons, but not horizons related new stuff.

The truth is that the horizons content is equally bad as the previous content. I have done minimal amount of PvE related horizons stuff, I have found 0 reasons to do so.

The only real thing you will get from Horizons atm. are the crafting materials. You can use these to get a +30% dmg bonus. This is only really useful for PvP.
