Give quiche a chance

As the title says (from Red Dwarf polymorph episode iirc) is there anyone still not bothered by the Thargoids?

At the speed they are going we could move the whole bubble to Colonia planets and stars and all. Surely if they intended us dead they would fly through hyperspace and emerge everywhere not just in small backwater systems.

Was thinking about this recently and I think it is all a psychological experiment by Frontier. Assuming the Thargoids are going to hit Earth as we zapped their home world previously (bad INRA), will the player base collect together to defend it or will factions still exist and continue their squabbles?

I also see some similarities in the Thargoid menace to the Nightwalkers on Game of Thrones (hence the winter is coming quote from David Braben a while ago).

Couldn't care less about plot train.

Can't blame the goids for being careful, after what we did to them the last time.

People will be bothered when insta-attack hyperdictions starts to happen in the bubble.

I think his currently setting up the Committee for the Liberation and Integration of Thargoid Organisms and their Reintegration Into Society.

Otherwise known as ....*looks embarrassed*

I would have liked this to have happened from day one, in anarchy systems in the bubble. After all, combat aftermaths in the bubble can have destroyed ships covered in Thargoid gloop.

Liberals. Liberals, and sandals with socks.
Now now, we all know that Flan is just Quiche without the crust, and in the interests of safety, we couldn't have Flan allowed anymore for fear of being sued after Mrs Miggins from number 23 had a particularly unfortunate accident with a Flan and toilet brush.........
