To spend time and effort to reach far remote stellar bodies. Right now all we do is honk. Look for ELW, any ancient ruins and bounce out.
I understand 99.9 of the stellar bodies IRL are probably this boring. But if there was just a system where we scan the planet, it then tells us if there is or there isn't anything interesting, then it would log it as searched in The galmap system, that would be awesome.
We are literally just leaving heaps of possibilities, just because time and effort are not worth it. And it's not just about the money. You sometimes have to fly 15mins to 45 mins just to check out a sun and some planets. Even if you get there, you don't know if there is something cool because searching planets are a HUGE timesink! I get on the game to play. Not to watch loading screens after loading screens or just to strain my eyes looking for something that isn't there.
Instead we jump exploring hoping to find a listening post or something obvious. Come on boss, you can do better!
