Newcomer / Intro Glad to be back, but.....

G'day, I'm not not really new here, I been a back since for this game since before Alpha (I think that's the first one.....) since they were still just talking about the game , since before it was first shown/ downloaded. Anyway, I'm also a Founder and haven't been playing that much lately due to waning interest (At least I'm being honest.) and bad internet, but pleased to see that this game will soon be picking up by their new Space-Legs trailer for ED Odyssey.

Since the last time, I played, I have clean reinstalled my computer and , improved the internet and perked my interest (From that new trailer for ED Odyssey.) and after logging into my account again, I wonder why the page I get shown to is asking me to purchase the game, again! I already own this game in it's entirety, that is the tier I brought the game, along with free access to every expansion including the next one. I also got a outfitted Cobra Mark Three out of the deal. Among other things. Also, why are my ARC points back at zero?

It would indeed be easier to simply contact the support, but just in case - make sure you have the latest launcher version installed. I had some weird problems with my account as well after the last update and I fixed them by manually downloading the launcher, which for some reason didn't update itself.
Go to your Frontier account (in the frontier store) and select "My downloadable content". Your version of Elite should be listed there and when you click on it, the latest launcher will be downloaded and it will take you from there.
(unless you have the Steam version of the game, in which case gods help you I guess)

As for the Arx - how long were you gone? Arx is a new currency for buying livery. Maybe you are mistaking it for in-game credits?

I have both versions, but I never use the Steam version. I only brought it from Steam during a sale, because I was curious to find out if they had those collectable cards and in game awards.

It sounds very like the situation I had a couple of weeks ago. I'd originally purchased ED some years before, but not played it much. When returning a year or so ago, I'd opened up a new account with Frontier (which was by then required)* which allowed me to play the game, but didn't hold the actual game.
*(Most if this is a bit shaky, given my memory issues.)
At any rate, I opened a ticket and FDevs sorted it out quite quickly - their customer support is first rate. (y)
As others have said, open a ticket - you'll get good, clear and comprehensive answers.

If your Steam version was bought before April last year (2019)* - you can run that without going through Steam - just make a copy of EDLaunch.exe and run that, log in with your Frontier account details from that purchase.

*(Steam purchases since then must log-in via Steam.)

The issue might be this: Your game client doesn't know that you're the person with a specific Frontier account. In other words, you need to link the two. You can do this by going to the game client, top right; click on "Options -- Log Out Machine." You should now get another login-option, requiring you to provide your Frontier credentials. By doing so, the client and the account will be linked. Once you log in now, you should automatically resume the game that you'd started a while back. Hope this helps.
