Gladiator EVO ‘Space Combat Edition’?

Very good if you choose premium grip. Get two (left+right) and it's the best HOSAS for ED money can buy. (IMO, of course :D )

The main difference from the previous version are adjustable dry clutches which is an amazing feature for space sims where you don't really need any resistance on the stick movement.

I rem the warthog was tough near its centre resistance wise I struggled to be precise...……….. the resistance thing sounds interesting
still the best stick ive held to date till I try that of course if I ever do...…………….
with the old sidewinder 2 from Microsoft if you killed power only that killed all resistance (y)
with power low there was some with it high it was for hulks only (you could build wrist strength mus with forcefeedback)
and is to date imo the best stick ever made it just need a leftie option adecent mounting( had to use a g clamp) and a metal feel to be for want of a better word fully 6dof perfect the first models had a direct mains feed lol
it was quickly discontinued on reliability issues as there weren't any (I still have mine decades later abliet a now broken hat switch wont input right)

I upgraded to the Evo SCE with the premium grip from an X52 Pro. It's a great stick allround, and the adjustability and the programming possibilities make it very versatile. I never had a stick as good as this one, and didn't think it was possible to not have deadzones :) . Great bang for the buck.

My only complaint would be that the twist axis is too stiff and not adjustable. The twist also makes a slight "squishy" noise. I haven't done alot of hours on the stick yet, I hope the twist gets a bit softer after the break-in period. Apparently you can change the dampening grease, but that's not something I want to do.

Mods - I looked over the forum rules and didn't see anything prohibiting this, nor did I see a subforum for selling related stuff. If I am in the wrong do let me know!

It's easy to do, and very recommended.

You might want to avoid Folsom Street then.

Lived in SF from ~2006-2011 and I did avoid Folsom. Even at that time it was flooded with drugs and pretty gnarly scenes. Strange mix of tech companies and crazy homeless dudes crapping in public. I don't want to know what it's like nowdays. shutters

smooth criminals aside
so what controllers R you currently using out of interest?
or is it just a beez knees trip if you don't mind me asking?

I'm dropping out of spaceflight games for now. I don't see anything on the horizon, or currently around, that I'm interested in and could use the funds. In the past I owned a Virpil Mongoose, which was absolutely the best joystick I've ever touched. As far as I'm concerned, the only real dual joystick contenders are the VKB NXT Premiums, or the Virpils. Depends on how much you are prepared to spend.
