That's cool. I personally would still prefer dual stick plus a throttle for supercruise, but still a neat option.

Same here. That's why I'm hopeful that the VKB throttle will be released by the end of the year:
center lever in the base is Z (throttle) axis, works great for supercruise. Then X and Y left, right, forward, and reverse thrust, with the R used for up, down thrust.
I have three separate throttle configurations on my NXT. Y-axis, one of HATs for 25/50/75/100% and one rotary for +25%/-25%.
Sky is the limit.

so I can FA off and do keyboard things (pc and keyboard basically concealed)
dont mock it!
its a weapon of choice and funds nowt to do with it as I am a controls freak (not a looks or feel freak)
my logic is based on so you get a new car you go over the controls looking and learning your controls layout
a year later your only looking at where your going and paying very little or no attention to your control method unless something don't work as intended (my hotas setup just gathers dust now) (during a fight if your looking at controls your wasting time)
