Why in the world would you wait 30 minutes? That's plain stupid. If the game denies me docking because the pads are full I go straight into solo.
I have to agree with the pink pony on this one, I just play in solo as soon as it happens. It is a touch immersion breaking I know, but that's what happens when there is limited pads.
Canonn could make a fleet of Gnosis' to solve the problem, however spectacular a wall of mega ships would be. it would require one massive CG to do it!

I'm actually coming to Gnosis even though I think it will be a waste of time... But lately I'm so bored with the game that I!m even willing to wait it out without playing if it turns out a dud.
I do always try to hail the pad-blocking CMDR in chat etc. But if there's no reply after a couple of minutes, I'll solo it, too.

Yeah, nothing could very well happen, but I am going, too. As a backup plan I will farm raw materials so that hopefully I won't ever ever ever have to do it again. In addition I started doing CQC deathmatches. It's very gripping. Half the time my shields go down it's because a stupid building got in the way........But I have to go faster!!!
