I accidentally turned it off back in Alpha 4 I think it was and wondered why the hell i was making a complete pigs ear of docking. I managed it as well, but the repair cost wasn't pretty.

When I realised what I had done I slapped forehead and turned it straight back on, brutal.

Docking is too easy now.

Gone are the good old days of docking with FA Off rotational correction off and having the space station disappear and re appear at will.

Just old memory's now.

Nearly as good as trying to fly through seven humping impeccables

Sounds like something to try, at this point I think we need some challenges, at least I do. I have not been playing much since the universe is still small and we are just getting started (beta).

Now want to try to dock with both rotation correction and flight assist turned off.

The word you are looking for is Manley Mode.

Ok, but first i need to sell my Anaconda or it will be really challenging.

Successfully docked a 'conda in FA OFF and without rotational correction in P.Beta.

Successfully docked a 'conda backwards through the docking corridor in FA OFF a couple of weeks ago too. Obviously, I have video.

With the right H.O.T.A.S. it is not that hard really.
To make it a challange it has to be with mouse and keyboard only!
