It's obviously open to abuse but I really wish fleet carriers had some kind of guestbook people could sign, or maybe just a tally (a bit like you have in stations) which says something like "23 commanders have docked here in the last week". Or maybe even something like the history tab we have in the comm's panel so we can see who docked and when.
Oh god yes! That's so obvious. I mean obviously people could (and would) leave the most appallingly offensive welcome messages but it's no different from the fact that, as a squadron admin, you can post persistent messages for other squadron members to read. I'm sure there's a profanity filter but otherwise, if FD are happy to allow one it doesn't make sense that they're not happy to allow the other (you could always have a system for reporting offensive carrier descriptions).
I thought we already poisoned the native population of a part of the galaxy and then colonised their worlds like way back in FFE. I mean that's what the whole deal with INRA was ab-
