how many players have tried to get into a goidy struture on a planet,pick up the artifact and make youre way in,spelling is crap but you should know what i mean.never ever mention for a long long while.or do you even know about it.

I suspect loads of CMDRs have entered the goid structures recently as this was needed to make the unclassified relics which were needed by palin to make the nanite torpedos to defeat the titans. I think they were also part of the original unlock recipe for the caustic sinks.

Pulse neutralizer, actually. Was also the resident Guardian expert Ram Tah who wanted the relics, but… I’m just nitpicking.
You do need a Thargoid probe, sensor or link to get into one. Or you can cheese it by causing the door to glitch open using your on-foot character model(or so I’ve been told - I never used it because it’s, well, cheesing it… you may not have the same qualms).
I’d probably get a sensor, easiest to come by. Probes… well, not exactly the most common, can find some more easily within the war systems though.
Unless you buy one from a carrier, the ‘Thargoid Link’ item also only comes from the derelicts.

The structures were bugged for a very long time that meant you didn't need a Sensor/Probe/Link to open them, and could just drive right in. I pestered for quite a while because I organised a Buckyball race involving them 
It was fixed last year, so you now once again need an item to open the door. There's a crash site in the Pleiades that is guaranteed to have a Sensor.
