Going from T16000 to x52, good idea ?

Bad idea. Buy another t16000m or just buy a stand alone throttle, there's the CH throttle and VKB also has a stand alone throttle now, though its reported not as good quality as their black mamba sticks the price tag is much lower that the sticks.

Had a FLY5 (Madcatz/Saitek) since early December. After 2 days the 2nd fire button fell off, within 2 weeks I had the thing open to solder wires back on w2hen the rudder went full right and stuck there....
Now it's in a cupboard and I'll be thinking long and hard before I buy anything else from them.

£200 went on a CH Pro Flightstick and Pro Throttle - mapped rudder to the mini joystick on the throttle, so took a few hours to get my brain used to using my left thumb for rudder, but apart from having to relearn after using twist stick for rudder for a few years it's light years better. Feels good, very precise control from both stick and throttle, and built like a tank - I have never heard anyone :):):):):) about CH build quality.

1600 is a really nice stick (I retired one for the FLY 5, trigger switches were starting to get a bit intermittent and the throttle slider would ctach on my cuff....100% throttle from the landing pad to the slot, anyone?_) Couple it with the CH pro throttle and I reckon you'd have a really nice setup.....
