My fleet carrier Elysian Fields [FIRM] is preparing for a deep exploration trip into the black. I am located in the SCORI system and I have a Tritum order for 1,100,564,932. Who wants to ride to the center of the galaxy?

Er i think your stoker is telling you porkys, with that much trit you could prolly do over 10k jumps, thats about 5 million LYs.My fleet carrier Elysian Fields [FIRM] is preparing for a deep exploration trip into the black. Oh my, the O.P. just outed themselves as a beta tester for the forthcoming PS5 and Xbox Series X timed exclusive Andromeda expansion to make up for the delay in releasing a full native "next gen" version of Elite and Odyssey on the systems!!Er i think your stoker is telling you porkys, with that much trit you could prolly do over 10k jumps, thats about 5 million LYs.
Have you found Raxxla in another galaxy?
O7
I assume thats credits and not tons......and I have a Tritum order for 1,100,564,932...
They're actually very slow. My Phantom can outrun my fleet carrier with ease.though as fast as they are at travelling places, I'd miss the journey you normally make in a ship along the way
I have no idea why anybody does that. Never been there. Never plan to. The engineers around the Deciat area are all I need to fully engineer any ship.More likely I'll take the best part of six months travelling to Colonia to unlock the engineers there
That seems more likely as that would come to 22,011 tons @ 50,000 credits per ton. Still pushing the limit though if he has any modules installed at all...which he would have to if anybody goes with him. He'd have to have service/refuel/repair and shipyard available or nobody could go with him.I assume thats credits and not tons...
On the engineers, indeed you can set up your ships very well with the engineers in the bubble, as indeed I have my main ship pretty well engineered, with most modules upgraded to grade three, four or five, however with some of the modules they cap out at grade three or four in the bubble and you HAVE to go to Colonia to bring them to max rank (for shield boosters or shield banks at least) and IF I ever decide to play in Open mode, I'm not going there until I get all my modules up to grade five! They're actually very slow. My Phantom can outrun my fleet carrier with ease.
But your ship can't carry all of your ships, modules, etc with you at the same time as well as give you a place to sell your data, store ore you mine and turn in biologics you find.

I think he just got number happy.
Nope. You can get everything to grade 5 without ever leaving the bubble.cap out at grade three or four in the bubble
Indeed as said, you can upgrade most things to grade five in the bubble there are one or two things that you have to go to Colonia, certainly with either shield boosters or shield banks, I think the formerNope. You can get everything to grade 5 without ever leaving the bubble.

And you're wrong on both.Indeed as said, you can upgrade most things to grade five in the bubble there are one or two things that you have to go to Colonia, certainly with either shield boosters or shield banks, I think the former
I checked again, it's shield banks that you can only upgrade over grade three in Colonia:- https://elite-dangerous.fandom.com/wiki/Mel_Brandon ...And you're wrong on both.
Shield boosters to G5 is Didi Vatermann in Leesti. Shield Generators at G5 Lei Chung in Laksak.
They make a big difference for survivability in combat, though without engineering they generate so much heat that if you use the larger ones without deploying a heat sink at the same time, they'll damage your ship, meaning you have to give up at least one shield boosters or other utility slot for heat sinks (which I don't generally use)...You mean Shield Cell Banks.
I don't use them. Even if I did there wouldn't be any practical reason to engineer them.
Each to their own, though as said, I and many others swear by them!I use Bi--weaves and have never had an issue. I don't do PvP, so shield cell banks are of no use at all. They just use up slots better used for other things.
And heat isn't an issue if you properly engineer your power plant and distributor regardless of what you run. My FDL can burn every weapon wide open non-stop and never get above 60. Same with my Corvette, Krait Mk II, Chieftain and Challenger.
Pilot, I didn't understand you a bit, is this a joke or is there official data? Will the game live on the PS5 console ?Oh my, the O.P. just outed themselves as a beta tester for the forthcoming PS5 and Xbox Series X timed exclusive Andromeda expansion to make up for the delay in releasing a full native "next gen" version of Elite and Odyssey on the systems!!
(If only!!).
