Gold and chrome paintjobs?

I really want a Golden CUTTER paintjob!

Seems that all the other ships have had that finish option at some point, but I don't recall ever seeing it for the Cutter. I think that ship would look awesome in the brushed gold finish.

I know it looks great, BUT, any addition to the ship to make it contrast with the surrounding area just exposes your ship as a target, why do you think silent running was implemented? Silent running would be useless with a chrome ship exposing itself against a black background, even an original paint job can still be seen from over a Km away, visually, not only radar scans which if extended can be used for way over 3 km.

The opposite may well be the case in some situations. The Chrome Cutter in this video looks almost invisible at times. It’s a shame that we can’t take these paint jobs on a quick test run before committing.
