The one time I stopped by Styx there was more gold than my cargo bay could hold.
I could only hold 4..
...that time you wish you could just eject weapons and fill the free space with gold ^^ But, proud of you, it must have been VERY hard to leave the remaining one there, floating nowhere...
I'm sure it is there but there's a lot of luck involved in finding gold.
I found it only once and by the time I'd scooped one container, three other ships appeared and attacked so having just a basic Sidey I beat a hasty retreat.
Since then all I've found is single ships, a group of three (run away) or low value containers, bauxite/scrap etc.
I found time spent investigating all these areas was not as profitable as trading on a per hour basis. But the thrill of 'getting something for nothing' is a strong pull.
Is there anywhere else to sell stolen goods other than LP 98-132?

Of course you can get by in LP-1832 going to USS, scooping the odd can of Coltan at best, if you're lucky you may find a Lakon and pop it's hatch, generally you'll just be fighting off pirates and finding cans of junk.
It's more profitable to plink fed fighters at Eranin now.
