Has anyone seen this? I don't have an Asp (no jokes please) so can't check. I seem to remember this was a bit of compensation for 2.1's delay, or such.

I've got one, had it a while, not sure what triggered it. Was before 2.1 was due I think tho. Could have been if you brought horizons before a certain date?

Yup, I've got it - but not equipped on either of my Asps at present. Maybe I'll buy a 3rd Asp for rares runs... A gold rares Asp seems fitting.

Yes I have, alltough I don't think it was a gift for the 2.1 delay, as I remember it was a gift for horizon buyers who bought it before they changed horizons into a season pass.

I got mine early April...It seemed to arrive just after I reached Elite in exploration

The gold paintjob was given at around the time Horizons came out because of them changing the price plan and such.

I think it looks a bit diffrent now, at least the chrome ones do. My Chrome Vulture now looks much more shiny and awesome!

Yeah I would say that 2.1 did something to the metallic paint jobs. Smoother and shinier with less of the block looking graphics.

Possibly.
I bought in as a premium backer so luckily I didn't have to buy Horizons.
