Engineers Good Anarchy System for Farming Haulers?

Hi folks,

Sadly, a good deal of the needed components for many blueprints requires materials that only reliably come from wrecked transporters, for example Chemical Manipulators. But shooting at clean transporters has a tendency of getting the system security rather upset at you.

What are good anarchy systems in the bubble for hunting down 'lawless' hauling ships that won't get you Wanted?

Just filter the galaxy map to anarchy, almost any of them are suitable, you just need an empty cargo hold a nav beacon or a RES

Hmmm ... my concern with a Haz RES at the moment is i'm forced to carry a bit of cargo because of a commodity I have that I need for a blueprint ... which suuuuuucccks (We REALLY need a bank, FD!). So I can't go in there without getting shot at by every NPC there because I'm considered to be hauling cargo. Unless crafting commodites don't get tagged as 'cargo' by NPCs. But I'll check out the Nav Beacons in those systems ... thanks, guys!

No sadly they think those 400 cr components are indeed "a huge score" If you want to kill haulers but your carrying commodities you'll need to interdict/destroy transporters in an anarchy. Try to find one in boom it will have increased hauler traffic.

As mentioned before, use your galaxy map filter to find Anarchy planets near you. Also, I've decided to leave any commodities need for mods as the last thing I do before heading to an Engineer. Carrying cargo is a big red flag for npcs to open up on you just about anywhere, especially in Anarchy systems.

Old thread but still linked in the Sticky's so here's my 2p.
Find a "Seeking Weapons" Signal Source:
1. Search the Galmap for an Anarchy system at War (Goverment type = Anarchy, System State = War). You'll have to do 2 separate searches and manually correlate the data.
2. Travel there in a ship that can take down Competent T-9's without commodities in your hold (to avoid interdictions/scans/etc). A vulture or better should do.
3. Search the shipping lanes and around stations for a "Seeking Weapons" signal source.
4. Blow up the T-9's you find. Watch for wings but most will be solo. They drop a lot of Chemical Manipulators and other rare materials.
5. If they do not respawn, jump to SC and drop back in. That should reset the instance.

Do this in a wing but be sure to tell your wingmates if you're going to use collector limpets as it can be very frustrating for them if your limpets steal what they're lining up to gather. :)

The galaxy map doesn't show War state correctly; if you click through to the system information those showing on the galaxy map as War have no state in the system map.

Do you have any examples of systems that are Anarchy and in War at the moment?

if you ask me, fastest way is taking a ship with a godd jumprange, and scouting. seeking goods/ seeking weapons/ seeking medicines - all will work.

Where do seeking goods/seeking medicines show up? I assume the latter is in outbreak systems?

yes ... unfortunately the fastest way to get some of the mats for these recipes is to be a murderer... I have been stalking an anarchy system for a couple of days now loading up on things that trade ships carry. it is like a personal embargo against NPC trade ships.
.
JGM if I remember seeking meds are in the systems with outbreak... I have to admit that is more than dastardly.

yes, and seeking goods in boom and bust... but not always (i don't know the rule YET), and it doesn't require the controlling faction being in that state - so galaxy map is quite useless.

whenever i neeed chemical manipulators, i take my DBE scouting - and after half a dozend system i find one, pick my python and go farming.

There is one very close to Diaguandri (15% discount on all ships and outfitting, very good selection) with a Haz RES, as well as some settlements +++ low security and settlements ++ medium security (perfect to get data from data points).

Focus on the T9/T7's and, when the RES is clear of any haulers, watch the pirates fight each others and terminate the weaks to collect materials from them, it's funny! :)

I just went to the closest Anarchy system and hung out at the Nav beacon. But I did NOT have cargo in my hold. Pirates do scan you, and they will attack for even the smallest item in your hold.

It's a drag to dump a commodity you know you will need later, but there's nothing else you can do.

Get everything else you need, and then get the last commodity right before you go to do the upgrade. That seems to be the best plan with how things work currently.

I can find good anarchy system without a problem.
Problem for me is I rarely encounter freighters.
I never see haulers, T7's, T6's, T9's etc. flying around anymore.

the trick to that seems to be population... you want a pop in the millions. the real trick might be to find low sec areas and hunt there and just accept the bounty, i have not tried it myself yet though.
