Hello fellow degenerate anime fan Cmdrs! Here is my list of my fav anime to watch while I grind. Please share yours too!!!

-Space Dandy : it’s a show about a alien bounty hunter that sucks at his job

-Death Note : some dude gains the power of life and death

-Space Battle Ship Yamato: ww2 In space!

-Cowboy Bebop: no intro needed

-Gate: a portal to a strangle land opens in Japan, they find oil, America and China invaids.

-Skyrim: you wake up in a strange world , you walked into ambush and are taken prisoner

-Guran lagin: humans fight aliens in Space

-Steins Gate: a show on why time travel is bad

-Code Geass: Japan fights Britan with robots and still loses

-Overlord: guy gets trapped in a game and preceded to kill everyone

-Prison School: [redacted]

-Tonya the evil: some dude was so evil in his past life, god sends him to Germany in ww2


-1 punch man: bald man too strong and gets depression

This one sounds sad.

I'm not much of anime person but I really enjoyed One Punch Man.

The 'Endless Eight' arc from season 2 of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. The pay off of those episodes come later in the film The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya though.

Planets is good. Its about space garbage collectors. It sounds lame but I promise it is pretty good.

Another vote for Planetes, the manga is well worth a read too.

The Yamato remakes (2199 & 2202) are fantastic and just about to get released on Blu-ray here in the UK.

Not a big follower of anime but at the end of the day its just japanese cartoons/comics.

So my recommendations are:

DC cartoon films. The recent Justice League Dark one is pretty good. Also Constantine: City of Demons. But DC does some pretty good film cartoons.

Also, it often gets overlooked, but i quite enjoyed Lensman, an anime base on E. E. Doc. Smith's Lensman books.

"Planetes", "Cowboy Bebop" and "Freedom" are in my opinion, the finest examples of science fiction ever produced for Anime. These shows are absolutely amazing. Problem is, though, you will end up crashing into a planet or diving into a star by accident as you will be spending more time watching the show than playing your game.
