Good bye, Odyssey - back to horizons, and 40 quid back to my CC

Especially as you didn't let me haz your stuphs.

My version of Odyssey still lets me do all the things that were in the game before, I must have inadvertently bought the special edition or something.
Try to farm a crystalline shard field on Odyssey then. While I never liked them, you definitely can not do all the things that were in the game before. I won't go for refund, can't even, as the time limit for a refund of my LEP is long over. But I won't play Odyssey until I'm at least getting a minimum of 30 FPS in the same settings that give me 60 FPS in Horizons again. Probably not happening until console release and the corresponding PC patch.

I'll take your word for it since I never farmed a crystalline shard field in Horizons. My material bins are pretty much permanently full from just collecting stuff via rocks whilst driving the SRV around so I never felt the need.

As I understand it though there's a bug with the material distribution, which will no doubt be fixed.

I'm curious as to what gear you're running. I'm playing on a 2060, so hardly cutting edge, 16 gig of RAM and an eight year old i7 3770, settings on high, bloom and blur enabled etc and I'm getting 60fps in Horizons-equivalent activities such as driving/walking around on planets. Lucky me I guess.

Well, can you post a picture of your Raw Materials from the material trader screen so we can evaluate "pretty much permanently full"?

Are you taking the proverbial? I have better things to do with my Sunday than satisfy someonel who thinks I'm going to lie about the amount of pretend minerals I own in a computer game lol.

'Pretty much permanently full' means exactly what it says - some may be at 145/150 or 238/250 or whatever if I've used a few to engineer something or done a jumponium jump and haven't had the opportunity to top off that particular item since, but other than that I keep them full. If you find that hard to believe, maybe you'd do better to worry about your gameplay than mine.

You aren't able to take a screenshot and post it? it takes less than 30 secs much less the time you used to reply...

Occam razor: if you can proof it (with so minimal effort) then you are just saying a nonsense...

Happy sunday :)

No you misunderstand. I'm perfectly capable of taking a screenshot and 'proofing' it. I simply don't give enough a crap about the wishes or beliefs of the guy who asked me to do it. Or indeed you. Not sure why this is a difficult concept really.

What exactly do you find so hard to believe? I've been playing the game for six years, I had all the ships I use regularly fully engineered tne best part of three years ago so don't have huge ongoing material requirements and I've spent a lot of time driving the SRV, which means by default finding materials on planet surfaces. Maybe you're one of those people who see material collecting as something to dash out and do in one sitting, which is your choice, but that's not how I've done it.

Every day that I think I've seen peak weird on the forums, they just go and prove me wrong again.
