Good Home System?

Greetings Cmdrs,

so I started a fresh account on PC and now I am seeking a good home system to support my playstyle:

• good mining spot
• high res combat
• high sec

I had that at Kremain when I started 5 years ago on Xbox. Any alternative ideas?

Use EDDB, change the security dropdown to high, current system as reference, and then look over the results to find system with a lot of rings I guess, if mining and RES are what you are looking for.

are you inclined to mine in the same system (so you want res to mine? pristine? metallic?)
or are the res for bountyhunting? and the mining spots can be out of system?

I like home bases not too far from, or in LYR systems, for the discount on ships and upgrades. So far I have called home: Ehecatl, LHS 20, Diaguandri, and Shinrarta Dezhra after getting elite in Exploration. Mining, and or combat is for me is usually not in the same system, but it could be. Depends on your priorities.

I also vote for deciat. It's a quiet backwater, great for mining, bounty hunting, and even has an underused engineer.

If you like making credits with massacre missions and you want to make double credits doing it, I'd suggest making your home in ALD space (maybe Kamadhenu) where you can pledge to ALD in PowerPlay, rank up, get the PowerPlay salary and get up to double the bounty payouts.
