I haven't Elite played much over the last six months but have put in maybe four hours hours today. This is shaping up very nicely. I have had one lock up, I think. I waited about five minutes but still didn't come back into normal space and it has been a bit slow on other occasions coming out of super cruise. Other than that it has been worked very well.
I run a 4k monitor with everything on max on a GTX 780 and the lowest FPS so far is 30fps, normally it is around 45 so from a performance perspective I am happy with it on my rig.
So, I know there is more to be done but for a first at this point in the development. Well done to the Elite team. I liked it on the Amiga, I love it now, on the PC!
