General / Off-Topic Good movies or series, I am running out of materials to watch.

So, I'm really running low on series and movies to watch, I even started to re watch the old Colombo show, any suggestions?

There's this little show called The End of The ** World. And I'm hoping I don't get a ban for avoiding a filter, it's just a show's name :)
I've started watching a first episode basically on accident the other day and had to finish an entire season. It's rather odd, and morbid at times. Has some dark humor.
I don't know if I recommend it, but I liked it a lot so far. Considering I've stumbled upon it out of sheer boredom same could happen to you.

If you don't mind cheezy comedy sci-fi then I can recommend Future Man

It cracked me up constantly.

Just be warned its very NSFW in places (not the trailer, that's fine)

If you dont mind subtitles there is a Korean show called Kingdom, just about to finish the 2nd season. It far surpass anything Ive seen come out of Wokewood of late as do the ones below.

There are others but then Netflix is regional. So not sure which will show up.

French Dead Zone. German: The Dark. Finish: Border Town. Icelandic: The Valhla Murders. Polish: The Mire. Swedish/Danish The Bridge.

All come with English subs.

I'm not bothered about re-watching good series. I'm currently re-watching House. My choices are limited because I cancelled my Netflix to save money. I only began my subscription to watch "Mute" anyway

"American Gods" made me chuckle in places, but it's not a patch on "Good Omens"

"Brain Dead" was a lot of fun

Has anyone watched "Upload" or "Tales From the Loop"? What did you think?

But my recommendation is to re-watch "Firefly"

I tried Tales From the Loop but it's very...flat. Only tried 3 eps, only liked the first. The new Amazing Stories is pretty cool, certainly better than the new Twilight Zone....

Yes, if you like your stoner humor Future Man is great. if you like Futurama so is Disenchantment.

Damn good series, looking forward to the rest.

In a similar vein, Preacher.

I actually quite enjoyed the reboot of Lost in Space

His Dark Materials i enjoyed, better than the film version.

Philp K 's Electric Dream is decent.

Doom Patrol if you like strange super hero stuff, and even moreso Legion, which is just bizaare.

The Boys i highly recommened.

and of course, Black Mirror.

I could never get into American Gods, but that may be because I read the book first and the book was fantastic.
In contrast, after reading Leviathan Wakes by James Corey, the Expanse series is brilliant,
Firefly has been rewatched countless times - never gets old
The Dirty Harry films in sequence, Christoper Nolan's Batman series in sequence.
Hell On Wheels was also very enjoyable, likewise Gotham.

Hard to answer without knowing what kind of thing you like. You mentioned Columbo - if you're a fan of Police Procedural there is a LOT of Netflix and Amazon prime video.

The Mrs and I are watching Bones and Supernatural at the moment. Although it's more her thing than mine.

I really tried to get into Tales from the Loop but it just didn’t grip me. I played 3 episodes and every time my attention ended up diverted elsewhere and it just played in the background

Inside No.9 is a great series if you liked League of Gentlemen
