I gave the same one, its ecellent and you will run most of new games with no issues on it. Also, Gigabyte is very good.

Congrats on the upgrade! I have the same card, but from EVGA. I pretty much always buy the EVGA cards. Force of habit and a long history of good experiences.

It's an upgrade for my current system. Just replacing my 960.

Have heard good reviews about 1060 regarding price/performance. My next card will be AMD, but so far I am feeling great with my GTX 760. Having GPU upgrade always make gaming more enjoyable, congrats!

Absolutely. All the expert panels I follow recommend the 1060 as the ultimate card for 1080p, and that's all I want.

Nice. That's the card I have and I have no issues with it. I even use VR. Skyrim, Fallout and ED. Been running VR since the summer of 2017. I'm happy with it.

I have over the last few years had cards from various brands.
Evga, gainward, gigabyte, MSI.

And out of all of them I think the only one to have an issue was the EVGA but that was a quick RMA and no further issues.

That's one failure out of half a dozen different cards not really unreasonable.
