I made about 2 million Credits with my cobra and I want to get a new kitted Viper for bounty hunting. Do you have any suggestions for a good weapons loadout? Before I used to take x4 Multi-cannons but I'm not sure if they are the most effective.

Crap, there goes my suggestion.. 4 AC's may not be the most effective but they sure look and sound cool. Sadly I have often killed bounties that didn't pay for the ammo I used.
well, the best one for a large number of people is 2 C2 beam lasers, 2 C1 dumbfire missiles. dont waste the ammo on the missiles or you will be reloading a lot. the 2 C2 beams are enough to kill a python with some work.
I tend to mix a couple of lasers with a couple of projectile weapons for when the shield goes down on larger vessels (it's cheaper that way), although the actual mix would be down to your preferences. I prefer cannons to multi-cannons, they just suit my playstyle more (and they go boom).

You are looking at 1.5 million a pop for a best in slot A class more or less
not all the modules however
I got the usual pair of pulse lasers and pair of multi-cannons, but they are in stalled lasers to ,eft , MC to right meaning I got big versions of both lasers and MC to play with

2 pulse laser or burst lasers of choice. And 2 cannons or railguns. Lasers for shields and hull, cannons for hull.
I'm almost completely A rated (well not life support) and it's about 2.2 million for a viper. 2 fixed beams on small hard points, 2 gimbal multicannons on the medium hardpoints.
