Elite / Frontier Google Moon

Those wonderful bods don't just do maps and street views and show us the galaxy, You can now look at the moon :

www.google.com/moon/

And before you ask NO you can't see the remains of the Apollo 11 lander.
But they do have flag points for you to click on which tell you about various features of the moon, and yes it does tell you about all the various moon landings, but like I said you don't actually see any remains.

Now, this will no doubt fuel conspiracy theories, i can just imagine it :
"If they photographed the moon, surely they'd also photograph the bits of the landers, flag, rover etc."

But also, isn't there a theory that no telescope can possibly see the moon in enough detail to see bits of lander etc ?

So How did Google do it ?
I can't explain it, but maybe someone else could.

So a thumbs up to Google to let us look at the moon, but thumbs down for no lander remains.

I read somewhere that the best resolution Hubble has is something like 90m for the moon. In which case the largest Apollo remains (3m x 3m) would be less than one pixel in the Hubble image; if that's true then it explains why we wouldn't be able to see any of the Apollo equipment.

There is a new Lunar satellite program that is supposed to be able to image Apollo equipment, but do you think I can remember the name of it?!
