got a new monitor and wow

4K is overrate and dont want to use 2 gpus for one monitor my tv is 4k cant tell the diffance
Depends on your distance to the monitor, at normal 'couch' distance, then no, 4k isn't really that impresive, but at closer range it becomes insanely so, a 42" 4k tv would make for great gaming experience at semi regular computer gaming distance, (around 1-2 arm lengths away?)

yeh i'm sat half an arm length from my 28" 4K and its amazing.

think i read if ur 6ft away from ur tv @ 4k it needs to be a 70" to be able to see 4k stuff anyway. thats y i never got a 4k tv

People didn't believe me when I told them what a difference going from 1920 x 1080 24" to 2560 x 1440 27" made in E D with my new monitor (a BenQ IPS jobbie).

BenQ GW2765HT?

Just got one of those and ED does indeed look amazing at 2560x1440

That's the beast, absolutely marvellous and at £280 it seems a real snip for an IPS panel which actually seems well fast enough to not ghost on anything I've run through it.

Yeah I got an Asus ultra wide, beautiful monitor. The wide aspect helps a lot in elite.

People underestimate a good monitor. You shouldn't, after all its the window to your world.

I run a small ultrawide myself (25" @ 2560x1080), its not the biggest monitor in the world (Still 2ft wide mind), but I find the ultra-wide really makes a difference in games and the pixel density on it is fantastic! :)
